By the power of the Michigan General Property Tax Act (206) of 1893 this three-member board is made up of appointed tax-paying members of the community. Members serve two-year terms and are responsible for hearing appeals of the Assessed Value of any taxpayer in the Township to ensure that all property is fairly and equitably assessed.
