The Charter Township of Kalamazoo is designated by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs, as a Passport Application Acceptance Facility. This designation allows us to provide an additional service to the Kalamazoo Township Community.
We will accept your passport application and related materials between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday. Please call ahead (269-381-8080) to let us know that you are coming. We also may be able to answer basic questions. We suggest that you contact us before contracting with a third party for "hand carry' or "expedite" of an application. The extra expense of a third party is often not necessary.
Be sure to bring your completed application, proof of citizenship, identification document, passport photo and checkbook, money order or cashier's check with you. We cannot accept cash, credit or debit cards for payments to the U. S. Department of State.
