Election Coordinator/Document Manager
Full time position with benefits
$40,000 to $43,500 commensurate with experience
In coordination with the Township Clerk Elections Coordinator/Documents Manager is responsible for maintaining the records for elections through-out the year. Organizes elections, including processing voter registrations, ordering and testing ballots, recruiting and training election inspectors, processing absentee ballots and organizing precincts for election days as well as other duties necessary to hold fair and accurate elections in the Township.
Elections Coordinator/Documents Manager also handles filing of public documents using Laserfiche electronic filing system, assists other departments with managing electronic filing system and implementation of state retention policies.
Additional task may include taking meeting minutes, serving as passport acceptance agent or help with general office responsibilities as needed.
Accuracy and attention to detail a must. Thorough knowledge of office practices, systems, procedures and equipment including Microsoft Office. Previous election experience including QVF database a plus.
